Circa 1840 villa 2 storeys red brick on stone plinth, with basement. Low pitch
hipped slate roof with deep flat-eaves on iron brackets. Block sill course
1st floor. 4 flat roofed dormers with glazed cheeks above main front which
has 4 windows to both floors, recessed sashes with flat stone arches, Venetian
shutters and glazing bars intact on 1st floor. Later door inserted to centre
ground floor. The south side has sill course returned, 3 windows symmetrical,
later casements, with Venetian shutters gound floor. Central Greek Doric
porch with pilasters to wall. Door of 4 moulded panels with rectangular marginal
glazed fanlIght. Rear garden front has 4 windows and 2 storey canted bay of
3 windows, glazing bars intact.
