C19. Slender square stone with a rounded top, set diagonally to the highway.
South face has letters 'To READING 8 Miles', north face 'To ODIHAM, 4 miles'.
The former incised letters have been obliterated by the cutting of slightly
recessed panels, with painted figuring.
