Probaby early C17 in origin but much altered in C18, originally timber
framed but now brick faced with tiled roofs and brick stacks, set diagonally,
and part stone rubble to chimney bases. T-shaped on plan with 2 advanced gabled
wings; 2 storeys and attic; casement windows (some modern) with segmental
heads; 4 window front. The massive stepped chimney shaft at East side is
perhaps a late survival of this feature.
