Farmhouse, now house pair. C19 facade to an C18 or earlier house. Red and
grey brick in English bond. Front elevation rendered. C18 range parallel
to road, with a wing running north from centre, returning to east, adjoining
main range but extending further to east. West side of wing and west gable
end form present front elevation. 2 storeys. Dentilled brick eaves cornice
to north and east. Rendered eaves band to west. Roof of north wing hipped
to north, and return half-hipped to east. East and west ends of main range
half-hipped. East return wing has ridge stack towards west end, and
projecting brick gable-end stack to east. Long south side of main range
(to road) almost entirely occupied by two projecting stacks, of roughly
coursed and galleted flint and sandstone, with stone quoins towards base,
brick dressings above, and with steep, asymmetrical, tiled shoulders.
Irregular fenestration to west, of 3 windows; one recessed four-pane sash
to wing and one to (projecting) gable end of main range, and one two-light
casement over wing door. Half-glazed door to wing in rendered porch towards
junction with main range. Half-glazed door up four steps to front gable end
of main range. Interior not inspected.
