Former farmhouse. C17, partly reconstructed after fire in C19. Rag stone coursed rubble; brick facade in an English
garden wall bond, 4 courses stretchers to one header; plain clay tiled roof between stepped coped gables, probably
replacing thatch; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Stone plinth; steel horizontal bar casement windows of
lights with augured shutters to sides, under gauged brick flat arches; to lower bay 2 a C20 fully glazed door in
plain ashlar surround, with timber and tiled open porch. On east gable a 2-bay extension in stone, hipped roof; 2-light
horizontal bar casement windows, blank upper bay 2; further lean-to against this east gable: in west gable a small
stairlight at ground floor level, outshot and lean-to at rear. Interior not seen.
