Cottage, garden wall and flanking walls. c.1880. Coursed rusticated sandstone with
ashlar dressings. Cottage: graduated stone slate roof, stepped raised verges with
ashlar coping. End stacks. One storey and attic, 3 bays. Central board door in
shouldered, broadly chamfered doorway flanked by 2-light casement windows with
chamfered mullions. Chamfered stringcourse. Central projecting gable with shouldered
coping and recessed panel with shield. Garden wall approxiately 2 ft 6 ins high with
coping and gateposts. Flanking walls curving round cottage garden approximately 13 ft
high with coping and one corner post to left.
