Detached house. Earlier C19. Ham stone ashlar; half-hipped Welsh slate roof between coped gables; brick chimney stacks.
Double-roof plan: 2 storeys with attics, 2 bays. Plinth, cornice, shallow plain parapet; 12-pane sash windows in plain
openings: to lower bay 2 a 6-fielded-panelled door set under rectangular fanlight with diamond panes, in plain opening
Circular attic window in south gable. interior not seen. About 2m west of building a low stone will with chamfered
plinth and steeply sloped coping stones, having square piers with frieze band and bell-hip tops; walls capped with wrot
and cast-iron railings with taper points to middle and top rails, and fleur-de-lys finials to arch-braced standards,
and matching gate between piers opposite doorway: the whole adding to the setting of the house, one of the few with a
front garden in the centre of this village.
