The Sower

1886. Sir William Hamo Thornycroft. Bronze statue "The Sower", on Portland stone base. Male figure wearing shirt, trousers and leggings, striding forward over furrowed earth carrying a basket from which he casts the seed. Cast posthumously in bronze.
