Cottage and adjoining store. Probably C18 with store added in C19. Plastered
cob on rubble footings; cob stacks topped with C19 and C20 brick; thatched
roof. 2 room plan cottage facing south-west away from road. End stacks.
Small store or former byre added to left (north-west) end. 2-storeys.
Irregular 3-window front of late C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars.
C20 glazed replacement front door right of centre with C20 gabled porch.
At left end door to store with window over replacing former hayloft loading hatch. Roof hipped to right, half-hipped to left.
Interior has plain carpentry detail including plainly finished and sometimes waney crossbeams and stone rubble fireplaces with plain oak lintels. Roof
not inspected.
