II
Farmhouse. Probably C17 origins. Painted stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable
ends. Rendered stacks, the left hand stack projecting. Brick shaft to end stack on

The house has a two room and cross passage plan with entrance near centre, the two
rooms heated by end stacks. Circa C19 outshut added across rear, the kitchen to rear
right heated by an end stack.
Exterior: Two storeys. Long asymmetrical 4-window front with straight joint and
possible blocked doors to right of centre. C20 part glazed door near centre flanked
by circa late C19 8-pane sash to left with chamfered timber lintel with run-out stops
and C19 2-light casement to right. First floor with circa late C19 8-pane and 6-pane
sashes to left, small 2-light casement and C19 2-light casement to right.
Interior: Fairly slight chamfered ceiling beams with straight cut stops. There are
