Planned foldyard buildings, later C18, with some early C19 modifications.
Squared stone except for south part of west range rubble; cut quoins and
dressings. Stone slate roof to north part of west range and 2-storey part of
north range; Welsh slates on east range, C20 metal sheet roofs elsewhere except
for pantiles on pigsty. Ranges around yard open to south.

North range in 2 sections: 2-storey left part has 3 segmental arches with small
loft windows above, old brick external stair to boarded loft door in alternating-
block surround, and boarded door in chamfered surround, to left. Shelter shed
to right has 4 segmental arches. East range: 4 boarded doors, slit vents and
projecting pigsty with reverse-stepped gable; small brick ridge stack of former
cottage at right end. Boarded door on right return. Barn range on west with
2 stable doors and boarded door. Coped gables on deep footstones. Rear
elevation of east range shows boarded doors in chamfered surrounds, slit vents,
2 part-slatted windows and an 8-pane Yorkshire sash to cottage loft. Rear
elevation of barn shows opening for drive shaft of former gingang, above
blocked door.
