Public house. Mid C18 front, with early C19 right hand bay, masking C17 framed
structure behind. Rendered brick on painted random stone plinth. Hipped plain
tiled roof, earlier to left, with wide projecting eaves and plastered soffit. Ridge
and side stacks 2 storeys; regular 4 window front, glazing bar sashes. Entrances
off-centre to left and right, the door to left half-glazed and panelled in flat
pilastered doorcase with fluted surround. Fanlight and open-pedimented entablature,
columned porch. C20 half-glazed door to right with flat projecting bracketted
hood. Early C10 1-storey extension to right.
