Early-mid C19 stuccoed pair, each 2 storeys and basement. No 48 3 windows, No 50
2. Low pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit. Banded basement and ground
floor. Moulded architraves to 1st floor sash windows with glazing bars. Console
bracketed cornices to long ground floor casements with cast iron balconies and to
4-panel doors with plain fanlights, up 7 steps. Pediments also over doors. Main
window sections slightly set back.

Nos 40 to 54 (even) form a group with Nos 56 and 58 which are of local interest.
