3 early C19 linked pairs. Each house 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Stock
brick with stone-coped parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to replaced sash windows.
1st floor stucco cill band. Ground floor windows in round-arched recesses. Enclosed
angle porches, with paired pilasters and wreaths in frieze, hold wide 2-panel doors
with rectangular fanlights. 2-storey extensions behind the doors. Later stuccoed
linking sections with pilasters, cornice and blocking course and arched entrance.
Between 2nd and 3rd blocks a modern projecting entrance.
A further north block of mid C19 dao 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Grey
brick with stuccoed cornice and blocking course, and 1st floor cill band. Moulded
architraves to ground and 1st floor windows, the former with cornices. Gauged
flat brick arches on 2nd floor. All windows replaced sashes. Half-glazed 4-panel
double door, with rectangular fanlight, in modified entablature surround.

Nos 143 to 155 [odd) form a group.
