GV II


2 houses. Early and mid C18, restored C20. Squared coursed and regular coursed
limestone with thatch roofs. Each originally 2-unit plans. No.23 is lobby-entry
with 2 storeys and No.25/26 is single storey with attic. 4-window range of C19
casements under wood lintels. Similar casements under irregular eyebrow dormers
to first floor. 2 C20 doors with gabled porches between window ranges. Brick
stacks to ridge and end of No.23. No.25/26 has C20 thatch wing to rear.
Interior: No.23 has open fireplaces, now blocked, and stop-chamfered ceiling
beam.
