House, formerly toll-house. Reset datestone 1660, probably late C18. Squared
coursed limestone with C20 plain tile roof. Circular plan. 2 storeys. Entrance
front of 2-window range of casements with glazing bars under stop-chamfered wood
lintels. Central C20 door and porch. Conical roof with flat top and lateral
brick stack. Weathervane finial. Interior has some reset C17 and C18 panelling,
said to come from Barnwell Manor House. Used for a time as a public house.
