C16 with C17 and C18 additions and modifications. Originally timber framed of which traces remain on left and internally at that section of the Inn. Two storey and attic, three dormers, mainly brick, stucco, rusticated, with fluted keys to flat arches. Seven first floor flush frame sash window with glazing bars. Six-panel door with Doric pedimented ease. Plinth. Slates, eaves cornice with widely spaced paired brackets. Three good Adam type metal fanlights over internal doors.

The Angel Hotel, Nos 34, 35 and 36 form a group.
