House. C17, heightened early C18. 2 cottages, now one
dwelling. Early C18. Squared and coursed limestone rubble with
freestone dressings, stone slate gambrel roof with hipped
dormers, external stone stack with brick shaft to left gable
end and rear wing. 3-unit plan with rear wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range. Cyma-moulded
stone-mullioned windows with C19 casements; 2 fixed panes to
outer lights, casement windows to centre. C20 two and 3-light
casement windows to the dormers. The paired left-of-centre
doors with chamfered surrounds (that to the left is blocked)
under a continuous hood on brackets are flanked on both floors
by 3-light windows with similar 2-light windows to the far
right.
