Gatepiers and gates. 1859. Designed by Jeremiah Marriott & Son. Ashlar stone and cast iron. Pair of large octagonal stone piers with single gabled buttress to each main face, with moulded double plinths and octagonal stone spires with finials. Either side are single pedestrian gates with square piers and buttresses to front and back, with moulded double plinths and banded pyramidal caps with lucarnes and finials. 4 cast iron Gothic Revival style gates. This building forms a good group with the other buildings listed at Dewsbury Cemetery.
