Pair of houses. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar facade articulated
by pilasters; eaves band; hipped slate roof with wide eaves
and moulded ashlar ridge stacks; Flemish-bond brick returns
with freestone dressings. Double-depth plans.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; each house 2-window range. 6/6-pane sash
windows. Doors, to rear of returns, are below windows.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: both buildings are fronted by a squared,
coursed limestone rubble wall approx 1m high. To each end are
pairs of piers with cornices and shallow pyramidal caps. The
walls then sweep up for approx 1.5m to freestone quoins, turn
to the rear and sweep up to approx 2m. C20 gates.
