Public house, built in 2 stages. Early and late C19. Limestone
ashlar, rusticated to the front, slate roof with ashlar stacks
to gable ends and former gable end (now a ridgestack).
Double-depth plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; formerly symmetrical 3-window range,
later 4-window range. Platband, pilasters and plain
architraves. 6/6-pane sash windows to the 1st floor, 2/2-pane
sashes to the ground floor. The range to the right which is
similar but later has C20 double doors to the right. A
projecting porch to the original block has 2 small windows to
the front and late C19 4-panel doors to each side.
INTERIOR: Some early C19 6-panel doors and a late C19 slate
fireplace remain.
