Also known as: Nos.69 AND 70 THE SHAMBLES.
Shop. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, roof unseen, probably slate
with tall moulded ashlar stacks to the sides. Double-depth
plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 2-window range. A high coped
forward-facing gable is stepped at the apex with a ball
finial. It is flanked by pilasters higher than the walls, each
with a raised diamond-shaped panel below a curved top. The 2nd
floor has a moulded architrave and bracketed sill to one large
Diocletian window with an 8/8-pane sash window to the centre.
The 2nd floor has moulded architraves to 8/8-pane sash windows
over a C20 shop.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
