House, right-hand half of pair, the other is altered and not
included. Early C18, altered mid C18 and C20. Limestone rubble
with ashlar dressings to windows, stone slate roof with brick
stack to left party wall. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. The right-of-centre C20
porch and door is flanked on the left by a 3-light window with
chamfered stone mullions and C19 or C20 glazing of 3 panes to
each light and on the right by a tall later C18 surround with
a C20 casement window, probably a former sash window. The 1st
floor has 2-light windows with cyma-moulded mullions flanking
the porch and a similar C20 single-light window to the far
left; the window to the far right is taller, also probably a
former sash window. Wrought-iron brackets to the gutter. The
right return has two C20 windows inserted to the rear end.
