Milestone. Late C18 or early C19. Single gritstone slab, approx 1 metre in height, set into northern verge of the lane running east-west between Wirksworth and Belper. The convex south face of the post is inscribed 'LONDON 1:38 (miles) WIRKSWORTH 2 (miles)'.
