Railway bridge. 1839-1840. By Isambard K Brunel for the Great
Western Railway. Limestone ashlar with brick lining. Trapezium
plan. The facades to the semicircular-arched bridge have
semi-elliptical arches flanked by wide buttresses and
surmounted by platbands and parapets. A C20 pedestrian tunnel
has been added to the north side.
