Level crossing keeper's cottage. Built in 1848 for the Reading, Guildford and Reigate Railway Company. Red brick with black brick headers in Flemish bond. Slate roof with two brick and one cement rendered chimneystacks. One storey; three windows, including right side canted bay with open pedimented gable with blocked oculus supported on corner brackets. Round-headed windows throughout. Plinth. Weatherboarded porch. Later C19 small rear extension in brown brick with hipped roof This is the only remaining level crossing keeper's cottage on this line.
