House, now shop and offices. Late C17, with late C20
alterations. Timber-framed and stuccoed, beneath Welsh slated
roof.
EXTERIOR: 4 storeys, 2-bay front. Although previously listed
with Nos 7 & 8 (qv) this is a separate structure with
different-floor levels. First floor has 2 flush-set 12-pane
sash windows with architraves, and projecting continuous
weatherboard above. Second floor with 2 wider spaced sashes
with divided glazing. Third floor with 2 squat 6-pane sashes.
Ground floor has full width C20 shopfront, with plate glass
display windows, central entrance with glazed doors, and deep
fascia with cornice at first-floor sill level.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Included as part of a significant street frontage range with
Nos 7 & 8 Market Place (qv).
