House, now restaurant. C16, altered and refronted early C19,
extended to rear late C19. Timber-framed, stuccoed front,
cement rendered flank, yellow gault brick, Flemish bond, rear
outshut, old tiled roof behind front parapet.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. First floor has 1 recessed
6-pane sash window, with projecting keyblock, and flat cornice
raised on moulded consoles; ground floor with late C19 timber
shopfront, with closed plate glass windows with cast-iron
ventilation strip above, recessed central half-glazed door,
plain pilasters, and fascia beneath slim cornice. Roof with
modern box casement dormer.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Included as part of a significant street frontage grouping.
