Dolphin Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Late C17/early C18. Painted roughcast over cob,
half-hipped thatch roof with external lateral stack to front
right. One-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; one-window range. C20 2-light and glazed
lean-to to the ground-floor front, planked door to the left.
INTERIOR: to the rear left is a spiral stair, evidence of a
former open fireplace to the right, a massive chamfered
crossbeam to the ground floor, 3-bay roof with trenched
purlins.
