House. Late C17/early C18, altered late C18/early C19.
Rendered cob on a 2m plinth of red sandstone, thatched roof
with an external lateral stack to the front left and a massive
external stack to the rear of the rear left wing which was
formerly single-storey. L-plan with C20 additions; entrance
now in right-hand wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. C18 or early C19 3/6-pane
sash windows at eaves level, early C19 windows to the ground
floor, 8/8-pane sash to the centre, a 4/8-pane sash in former
doorway to the right and a C20 door in right return.
INTERIOR: one chamfered crossbeam, an open fireplace to the
left corner and a repositioned 2-panel door planked to the
rear, probably C17, remain. The house has been re-roofed and
the pitch altered.
