GV II

House. Mid C19. Rubble (mostly limestone) with rock-faced
limestone dressings and slate roof. 2 storeys. The south
facade, facing Carter Road, is a 3-window range. The windows
are glazing bar sashes with plain reveals and projecting
sills. The central bay on the ground floor and the right-hand
bay on the 1st floor have blind recesses. Chimney on left-hand
gable. The roof is hipped at the right. The right-hand return
wall, facing east towards Cart Lane, is treated similarly. The
door, which is in the left-hand bay, is of 4 flush panels and
has plain reveals. Chimney at right.
