Club premises. c1870. Granite ashlar front; slatehanging to
rear; roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Italianate style.
2 storeys; 3-bay front. Plinth, channelled rustication to 1st
floor, with moulded architraves, and to ground floor below
moulded imposts of moulded round arches with stepped
keyblocks; mid-floor band and moulded eaves cornice. Late C19
horned sashes to 1st floor over C20 window and 2 doors with
2-pane fanlights. INTERIOR not inspected. A prominent facade
in a fine street. Included for group value.
