Formerly known as: The Britannia Inn BROAD STREET.
House. C18. Stucco to ground floor; roughcast; steep-pitched
Welsh slate roof; brick end stack and stack to rear.
3 storeys; 3-window range: 6/6 sashes in broad cases and lined
reveals, to 1st and 2nd floors; parapet; gable-dormer.
Entrance to left: half-glazed panelled double doors with
elliptical heads, in beaded frame; two 6/6 sashes in broad
cases. Right returned side: tier of blocked openings under
segmental arches, over margin-glazed double doors and
fanlight, under flat hood on panelled pilasters. Wing to rear:
early C18 6/6 sash and C19 mullion and transom window, in
moulded cases; early C18 6/6 sashes over; C20 entrance to
right; mullion and transom window with leaded clerestory
lights; C19 6/6 sash in moulded case; 3 continuous storey
bands.
