House, now school house. c1800, extended c1925. Brick with
Welsh slate roof.
3 storeys, 3-window range, articulated by full-height brick
pilasters. Central entrance in Tuscan portico, panelled door
with delicately traceried fanlight. Flanking tall 12-pane sash
windows on each floor (6-panes to attic storey). Coved cornice
to overhanging roof with rear wall axial stacks. Original low
2-storey pavilion wing recessed to left, and 2-window range
wing added c1925 to left. This has inner doorway with paired
traceried doors with fanlight in round-arched architrave.
12-pane sash windows on each floor, and parapet with
balustrading above. Long return forming main range of boarding
house.
