GV II

Pair of almshouses. 1899. Paid for by George Woofindin. Red
brick with moulded brick and ashlar dressings, and plain tile
roof with quadruple coped ridge stack. Plinth, first floor
band, rebated eaves. 2 storeys; 2 window range with 2 gabled
through-eaves dormers with 3-light stone mullioned cross
casements. Below, central canted and hipped double bay window
with two 3-light stone mullioned cross casements. On either
side, a round-arched doorway with hoodmould and half-glazed
door and fanlight. INTERIOR not inspected.
