4 terraced houses, now offices, and attached steps and area
railings. c1855. Red brick with coursed squared stone
basements, and ashlar dressings, some of them painted. Hipped
slate roofs with 3 ridge and single side wall brick stacks.
Quoins, first floor sill band, enriched modillion eaves
cornice. 3 storeys plus basement; 8 window range. Windows are
mainly original glazing bar sashes. On the first floor,
12-pane sashes with moulded surrounds. Above again, 9-pane
sashes. Ground floor openings have moulded surrounds with
cornices., and alternating doors and windows.
Outside, stone steps with brick piers and cast-iron balustrade
railings, and similar area railings on brick plinths with
ashlar copings. Basement has segment-headed windows with
keystones.
