House, now university centre. c1840, with late C19 and C20
alterations. Brick with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof
with single ridge and single rendered side wall stacks.
Plinth, first floor band, renewed wooden eaves. Recessed
centre flanked by single shallow projecting bays with a single
window on each floor. 2 storeys; 3 window range of plain
sashes. Central wooden doorcase with pilasters and cornice,
with half-glazed door and overlight. On either side, a single
sash. Left return has a single plain sash with moulded
surround and cornice, and below, a canted bay window. To left,
a set back bay with a single window on each floor.
