Two Necked Swan Public House

GV II

House, now a public house. Late C18, converted C20. Red brick
under a pantiled roof. 3 storeys; 3-window range. The
ground-floor brickwork is C20, added when the 5 fluted timber
pilasters separating the cross-casement windows were put in,
forming a mid C20 public house facade. This facade extends
into the ground floor of No.7 adjacent (qv). First floor with
three 2/2 horned sashes and second floor with three 3/3 horned
sashes, all with gauged skewback arches. Modillion eaves
cornice. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks north and
south. INTERIOR: completely modernised late C20. No features
of interest detected.
