GV II

Former cowhouse. C18. Timber frame with weatherboard cladding; half-
hipped corrugated iron roof, now gabled at right end. One storey with
loft, 3 bays. Central stable door; small window to either side; board
door to loft hatch on left return. Interior; rear wall lined with
horizontal boarding and with hayrack attached. Unjowelled wall-posts
with straight braces up to chamfered cross-beams which carry loft
floor of overlapped boards. Wall ladder to front right. Raking queen
posts carry purlins; pegged rafters.
