Entrance front shows a 2-storey, 3 window original building probably of late C16,
with a large central room and one at each end. Timber framed 1st floor, now tile
hung. Red brick ground floor of different periods; original stone ground floor
seen on garden front, Gable ended tiled roof with old brick stack. At right a
2-storey C18 extension in stone rubble With red brick dressings (into which a 1st
floor room of the old house projects internally). Diamond leaded casement windows.
On garden front a later gabled porch and an added hipped dormer. Interior shows
exposed framing including a side purlin roof with multiple queen posts and wind
braces.
