Originally 3 houses latter part of C18. (Nos 2 and 3 formerly one house). 2
storeys red brick with some grey headers. L plan group. Gable and old tile roof
hipped to corner. 4 renewed gabled dormers to Nos 2 and 3. 1 hipped dormer to
No 4 and gabled dormer to No 5. Nos 2 and 3 face south. No 2 altered C19 with
rendered front, 2 shallow canted bays symmetrical on each floor, glazing bars, sashes
to front, moulded cornices. Central 6 panel door new flat hood on shaped brackets.
Nos 3 has 4 renewed 2 light casement and small single light casement on 1st floor,
4 similar on ground floor. 6 panel door. New semi-circular leaded hood on shaped
brackets. No 3 has one original casement to Church Street. No 4 facing Church
Street has 1 window each floor, 2 light C19 casements, cambered header arches on
ground floor. 6 panel door, new hood. No 5 has 3 2 light casements 1st floor. 2
left on ground floor and one to right of entrance. Panelled door in probably
reset or modern surround of fluted pilasters, large egg and tongue moulding to
cambered head, plain frieze dentil cornice.

Nos 2 to 6 (consec) form a group.

CHURCH STREET shall be amended to read: HILL ROAD
HILL Race Close

Group value note should be amended to read: Nos 2 to 5 (consec) and Clements
Cottage form a group.
