2 cottages, now one. Probably early C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; brick
and rubble stacks; wheat reed thatched roof. Formerly 2 adjoining small 2-room
plan cottage with main range facing north-east. Right (north-west) cottage faces
north-east with rear lateral stack and left (south-east) cottage faces south-east
with axial stack in cob party wall between two. Right cottage has regular 2-window
front of late C19 casements with glazing bars and door to left. Roof hipped to
right, half-hipped to left. Left (south-east) end has one window front and door to
left (rear); first floor early C19 3-light casement with small rectangular panes of
leaded glass. Plain carpentry detail inside. Right cottage was formerly connected
at first floor level to Hare Cottage (q.v.).
