Pair of cottages. C17 with late C19 alterations and additions. Timber
framed with partly-painted brick nogging; partly-painted brick additions
and partial refacing to north; thatched roof under corrugated iron. 2
framed bays with addition to west. One storey and attic. C19 gabled eaves
dormer to south with 2-light casement; stacks truncated below ridge.
Framing: square panels, 2 from sole-plate to wall-plate; short straight
corner braces. South front: window opening to left; door openings off-
centre to left and right; frame missing in centre. Right-hand gable end
has exposed collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts. Interior: purlins
and windbraces; timber-framed square-panelled partition wall; chamfered
beams with plain stops, plain joists; 2 newel staircases; 2 integral brick
stacks, open fireplace.
