1861. Hammer dressed stone. Triple pitched slate roof. 6 storeys. Stone
brackets to gutter. 25 ranges of industrial windows, some with original glazing
bars. 6 ranges in end elevations. 2 ranges of loading doors, one of which
has round-arched heads and rusticated surrounds above this range is a horizontally
rusticated parapet, whose coping is ramped upward in centre, with an inset
panel inscribed "Britannia Mills. 1861"
