Pair of houses. Early C19. Colourwashed brick, red pantiled roofs.
No. 2 to west has single ground floor and 2 first floor sashes with glazing bars under flat rubbed brick arches. Greek Doric wooden doorcase set on 2 stone steps, baseless fluted Doric half columns, entablature with triglyphs and guttae, simple triangular pediment. Panelled reveals, 4 panel raised and fielded door, rectangular fanlight with detached lead glazing bars in cross shape. Cast iron wicket gate.
No. 1 High House to east included primarily for group value has 3 ground and 2 first floor sashes with glazing bars. Coped west parapet, hipped east gable, with central axial stack.
