Cottage, originally cottage pair. Circa 1750, converted into one cottage in 1950s and extended to
rear in 1970s. Timberframed building, rendered, with pantiled roof and central brick
chimneystack. Two storeys; front has 2:4 windows. Casement windows. Upper ones are mid C19
casements. Ground floor ones are early C19 cast iron casements with leaded lights C20 doorcase
on extreme right. Original doorcases were central to each cottage. Rear elevation has tiled lean-to
to ground floor. Interior has frame with spine beam with chamfer and runout stop. Fireplaces are
C20 but open fireplace may survive behind and each ground floor room has boarded cupboard.
Plank doors and 2 original winder staircases, although one has been turned out.

C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered cottage with some original wattle and
daub remaining on the front. Renovated and added to in the C20. One storey
and attics. Small casement windows. Boarded door. Roof thatched, with
2 dormers on the front and an end chimney stack at the west end.
