ST 69 NE HAMFALLOW MOBLEY

4/236 Mobley Farmhouse

GV II


Farmhouse. Mid/late C17. Incised render, slate roof with coped
gables and saddlestone finials, very large square brick ridge stack
to left of centre. Single range with 3 cross gables, central one
projecting at rear with through passage. 2 storeys and attic. 3
windows, 3-light thin splayed wood mullions to first floor, single
light in each gable, two 4-light on ground floor with central
projecting gabled porch also with coped gable and saddlestone and
with stone shield recessed in small square stone panel, depressed
stone archway with Gothick panelled double doors and small pointed
windows with keystones in each side. Rear has Cotswold stone
slate roof, farmbuildings abutting on right side, brick stack on
end of left hand gable, plain renewed door in projecting gable.
