Shuttleworth estate cottage, formerly a pair. Later C19 reworking of an
earlier building. Timber framed construction with colourwashed roughcast
render to exterior. Thatched roof. 4-room plan, one storey and attics.
Ground floor has 2 2-light casements with leaded lights. Attic has 2 eyebrow
dormers with 2-light leaded casements. 2 plank doors. Ground floor openings
have plain surrounds with shallow pediment. Brick central multiple ridge
stack. Plain bargeboards to gable ends. Includes former No 50.
