5/10002 Boat House on South side of
The Pool, Combe Abbey
- II
Boathouse. c1770-78, with later alterations. Probably by Lancelot
(Capability) Brown. Red brick and plain-tile roof. Single storey.
Open ended to The Pool and entrance door opposite. King-post roof
construction possibly early C19. The boathouse is marked on a plan
of 1778.
