House. C16, clad and much extended C17. Timber framed rear wing, tile
hung on ragstone base, and extended in red brick in irregular Flemish
bond. Plain tiled roofs. Main block: 2 storeys on plinth with plat
band and hipped roof with large stack to centre right. Four cross
windows on 1st floor and 2 segmentally headed sashes on ground floor
with half-glazed door to right with flat hood. Moulded panelled door
in left return in C20 flat roofed porch. Rear wing: the remains of
an earlier timber framed building. Garden walls, about 5 feet high
of red brick, in part on earlier base, late C18, extending some 25
metres south of house and returned along road and back to house porch.
